Engine Overview and Common Failures

Due to the high compression ratio, it is best to fuel the engine with gasoline of AI-95 and AI-98. Fluctuating engine speeds are usually caused by throttle or EGR valve contamination. Leaks in the cooling system are also common, occurring in hoses and thermostats. The replacement of timing belts can be quite expensive, and a broken valve always causes concern. Ignition coils, lambda sensors, and oxygen sensors are also known for their low reliability.
