Engine Overview and Common Failures

This unit is considered quite reliable, but it has one unpleasant feature. After 100,000 km, the oil receiver often gets clogged and the lubrication pressure drops. The lack of oil eventually leads to camshaft or crankshaft seizure. The timing belts can also break simply due to age, but the valves will always be bent. In addition, the cons include noisy operation and a low ignition coil lifespan.
