Engine Overview and Common Failures

This power unit is considered very reliable and rarely breaks down. However, it uses a lot of original and expensive parts in its engine construction. The main problems here are malfunctions of sensors, especially the throttle position sensor (TPS). The timing belt has a lifespan of about 90,000 km, and if a valve breaks, it usually bends. With high mileage, piston rings often become clogged, resulting in oil consumption.
