Engine Overview and Common Failures

The most problematic issue for owners is the temperamental monoinjection system. The engine RPM usually fluctuates due to air suction or dirt on the throttle valve. The lambda probe and coolant temperature sensor have a low lifespan here. This engine is also notorious for frequent oil and coolant leaks. On high mileage, oil consumption increases due to worn piston rings or valve stem seals.
