Engine Overview and Common Failures

This engine is known for its reliability and rarely causes concerns for owners. The only frequent issue is the vacuum regulator of the intake manifold flaps. Contamination of the injectors or throttle valve leads to fluctuating RPM. Another troublesome component for owners is the temperamental crankcase ventilation system. The lambda sensor has a fairly limited lifespan, as do the DTOZH and DMRV sensors.
