Engine Overview and Common Failures

The engine number ANA is located on the right side, at the junction of the engine with the gearbox. This is a high-performance engine and serious problems occur only at high mileage. When experiencing a decrease in power, it is worth checking the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. The unstable operation can also be caused by the EGR valve or air leaks. The mechanism for changing the intake geometry is not the most reliable. After 200,000 km, oil consumption usually appears due to worn rings and seals.
