Engine Overview and Common Failures

The AEH engine number is located at the front, at the junction of the engine and the gearbox. It is a simple and reliable engine, with a huge lifespan if properly maintained. Many of its problems are related to air leaks, so check the hoses and manifold. Some components of the ignition system also have a lower lifespan. A common cause of poor starting is a faulty fuel injector. After 200,000 km of mileage, oil consumption is often observed due to ring deposits.
