Engine Overview and Common Failures

This power unit does not tolerate freezing temperatures and may simply not start in winter. The most common cause of unstable engine operation is carbon deposits on the intake valves. The thermostat, phase regulator, and ignition coils have a low lifespan. If you miss the wear of the drive pusher for the fuel pump, you will have to replace the camshaft. The oil rings often become clogged at around 100,000 km, causing oil consumption to increase.
