Engine Overview and Common Failures

Most often, people complain online about leaks of lubricant and antifreeze, especially after overheating. Poor oil quickly affects the performance of hydraulic compensators and tensioners. The timing belt may not reach the recommended 90,000 km, and in case of valve breakage, it bends. Electrical problems cause many issues with high mileage: sensors, coils, lambda. The remaining breakdowns are related to contamination of the crankcase ventilation, throttle, and EGR system.
