BMW M60 engine
The BMW M60 engine series, with eight cylinders and a displacement of 3.0 and 4.0 liters, was produced from 1992 to 1996 and installed in popular models of the E34 5 Series and the E32 and E38 7 Series. The company Alpina used this engine to create their powerful power units, achieving a displacement of up to 4.6 liters and 340 horsepower. The V8 engine lineup also includes the following units: M62, N62, and N63.
