The weight of the N55 engine according to the catalog is 194 kg. The N55 engine number is located at the junction of the block and the head. This unit does not tolerate non-original oil and quickly becomes coked up. One of the first components affected by coke are the hydraulic compensators, Vanos and Valvetronic systems. In these engines, the direct fuel injection system has become more reliable, but there are still many failures.
