Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the Z16SE engine according to the catalog is 100 kg. The engine number Z16SE is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. The main problem of this engine is oil consumption, and carbon deposits do not provide a long-term solution. The only way to solve this issue fundamentally is through a complete overhaul. The catalytic converter quickly deteriorates, and its dust sometimes gets sucked into the cylinders. The timing belt can easily last up to 100-120 thousand kilometers, and if it breaks, the valves do not bend.
