Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the X16SZR engine according to the catalog is 100 kg. The engine number X16SZR is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. This unit is often criticized for its low power, but its reliability is fine. Fluctuating RPMs and engine power dips are usually caused by EGR valve contamination. The timing belt lasts no more than 60,000 km, however, if it breaks, the valves never bend. Minor engine failures can be attributed to failures of ignition system components and oil leaks.
