Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the SGA engine according to the catalog is 170 kg. The serial number of the SGA engine is located at the junction of the block and the oil pan. Despite the quite high power increase, these power units are quite reliable. Most engine problems are related to overheating, often due to a pump failure. Many car owners have also encountered fuel pump failures. It is necessary to regularly clean the crankcase ventilation, otherwise the lubricant will leak. Cheap oil significantly reduces the service life of hydraulic compensators and tensioners.
