Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the TNBB engine according to the catalog is 140 kg. The TNBB engine number is located at the back, at the junction of the block with the gearbox. Before the recall campaign for reprogramming, these engines suffered from detonation. The exhaust manifold often cracks, and the fragments can damage the turbine. The components of the direct injection system do not tolerate poor fuel and often malfunction. The use of improper lubricant quickly affects the operation of the phase regulator clutch. The rear crankshaft seal is the culprit of periodic oil leaks here.
