Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the Z32SE engine according to the catalog is 190 kg. The engine number Z32SE is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. This engine does not like the cold weather and not only starts poorly in winter, but also freezes while driving. However, the main problems with the engine are related to the low lifespan of the timing chain mechanism. The chain can stretch already at a mileage of 50,000 km, and the cost of replacement is not pleasing. The engine is afraid of overheating, and driving with a clogged radiator quickly leads to ring deposits. Other failures of the power unit are usually associated with oil leaks and ECU glitches.
