Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the X25XE engine according to the catalog is 190 kg. The engine number X25XE is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. Lubricant often leaks from under the valve cover and sometimes penetrates into the spark plug wells. It is not known for its tightness and oil cooler, hence the lubricant enters the coolant. The oil pickup is located close to the oil pan and any damage to it will cause a blockage. The timing belt has a lifespan of approximately 60,000 km, but if the valve breaks, it will be 100% damaged. This engine is quite cold and there may be problems starting it in very cold weather.
