Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the C16NZ engine according to the catalog is 120 kg. The engine number C16NZ is located at the junction of the block and the cylinder head. Owners often complain about ignition system failures, where the spark disappears. The usual cause is a faulty distributor cap, high-voltage wires, or spark plugs. The timing belt has a lifespan of about 60,000 km, and it's fortunate that it doesn't cause valve damage when it breaks. Problems often arise due to sensor failures, such as the lambda sensor. The idle control valve, thermostat, and fuel pump have a limited lifespan.
