Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the F2R engine according to the catalog is 135 kg. The engine number F2R is located at the junction of the block with the gearbox. If your engine is having interruptions: jerking, backfiring and simply stalling, the first thing to check is the carburetor. It is possible that the jets or one of the filtering screens are clogged. Ignition system malfunctions Owners very often encounter ignition system malfunctions. Both the coil and the distributor or the spark plugs can malfunction. The high-voltage wires' contacts also frequently oxidize. Leaks The power unit is prone to oil and coolant leaks. Moreover, it is quite difficult for me to suggest the most problematic areas: leaking, dripping, and sweating can occur anywhere.
