Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the C14NZ engine according to the catalog is 110 kg. The engine number C14NZ is located at the junction of the block and the cylinder head. The ignition system causes the most problems, as the spark constantly disappears. Start by checking the distributor cap to find the cause, then inspect the spark plugs and wires. Keep an eye on the condition of the timing belt, as its lifespan is 60,000 km, and a valve failure can cause damage. Various electronic sensors often fail, especially the lambda sensor. The thermostat, fuel pump in the tank, and idle control valve have a modest lifespan.
