Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the FFDA engine according to the catalog is 190 kg. The FFDA engine number is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. The CR Delphi system does not like bad diesel fuel, and the main problems will arise with it. It is necessary to strictly observe the interval for replacing filters, otherwise it will not last long. Repairing the fuel system is usually associated with dismantling the injection pump, injectors, and tank. The camshaft position sensor and crankshaft pulley damper have a modest lifespan. On journeys over 100,000 km, it is not uncommon for injectors to already leak, which can lead to piston carbon buildup.
