Ford Engine Ugjc

The 1.5-liter Ford UGJC or 1.5 Duratorq DLD-415 engine was produced from 2012 to 2017 and was only installed in the sixth generation of the Fiesta model and the compact van B-Max. This engine was developed by the PSA group, so it has a lot in common with the DV5TED4 engine. The Duratorq-DLD engine line also includes units: F6JA, GPDA, and G8DA.

The weight of the UGJC engine according to the catalog is 130 kg. The UGJC engine number can be found in two places. According to people's reviews, the engine turned out to be unreliable. It is very prone to freezing and can cause problems during winter operation. The EGR valve becomes clogged with carbon deposits after 30-50 thousand km of mileage, resulting in a noticeable decrease in power. Closer to 100,000 km, there is a high risk that the diesel particulate filter will become clogged and require replacement. Expensive repairs to the fuel system start at mileages over 100,000 km.
