Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the AXZ engine according to the catalog is 185 kg. The AXZ engine number is located to the left of the crankshaft pulley. The main complaints of owners are due to relatively high fuel consumption. The engine may not start in winter due to condensation buildup in the exhaust system. Many problems are associated with crankcase ventilation, usually requiring membrane replacement. Regular decarbonization is required as the exhaust valves quickly become clogged with carbon deposits. Ignition coils, fuel injection pump (TNVD), timing chains, and tensioners are known for their relatively low lifespan.
