Engine Overview and Common Failures

This engine is structurally simple and only bothers its owners with minor issues. Only some components of the ignition system have low reliability. There are occasional electrical failures, with the DPKV, DTORZ, and RXX being more prone to glitches than others. The estimated lifespan of the timing belt is 90,000 km, but it does not bend in case of valve failure. Usually, around 250,000 km mileage, the rings settle and oil consumption appears.
