Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the BUB engine according to the catalog is 180 kg. The BUB engine number is located on the front cover. Firstly, the power units of this series consume unreasonably high amounts of fuel. And secondly, although the oil consumption is lower than its predecessors, there are still complaints. The timing chain has a very limited lifespan, and replacement is complex and expensive. In the unstable operation of the engine, a breakdown of one of the ignition coils is often to blame. The advanced cooling system with two pumps is not known for its reliability.
