Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the J25A engine according to the catalog is 170 kg. The engine number J25A is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. Specifically, this engine is rarely encountered, but the entire series is known for its reliability. Keep an eye on the oil level, as worn camshafts quickly result from its decrease. Engine speed often fluctuates due to throttle valve contamination. The timing belt lasts about 100,000 km, and if a valve breaks, it causes 100% damage. Valve clearances require adjustment every 50,000 km; there are no hydraulic compensators here.
