Kia S5d engine
The 1.5-liter 16-valve Kia S5D engine was produced in South Korea from 2000 to 2004 and installed in the Asian version of the Spectra model, while the equivalent A5D engine was used in the first Rio. This engine was a hybrid of two Mazda units: the block came from the Z5-DE, and the cylinder head from the B5-DE. Kia's own engines include: A3E, A5D, BFD, A6D, S6D, T8D, FEE, and FED.
