Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the J30A engine according to the catalog is 190 kg. The engine number J30A is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. All engines in this series are known for their reliability and low maintenance requirements. If the oil level drops unnoticed, the camshafts may be damaged. The cause of unstable engine operation is usually throttle and injector contamination. Poor fuel quickly clogs the catalyst and causes loss of power. Valves need to be adjusted every 50,000 km, and the timing belt should be replaced every 100,000 km.
