Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the GW4D20M engine is 210 kg (with accessories). The engine number GW4D20M is located on the left side of the block. This engine has just appeared, so there are no statistics on its breakdowns for understandable reasons. So far, owners do not complain about any serious malfunctions. The Delphi fuel system does not tolerate low-quality fuel, so it is better not to save on it. There have been cases described on Chinese forums of warranty replacement of the priming pump. Like in all modern diesel engines, the intake manifold and EGR quickly get dirty.
