Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the G6DM engine is 216 kg (including attachments). The G6DM engine number is located at the junction of the engine and the gearbox. This engine has recently been installed, so the statistics of its breakdowns have not yet been collected. The main problem with GDi units is the formation of carbon deposits on the intake valves. The aluminum engine is sensitive to overheating, so please monitor its cooling system. It is still unclear how long the timing chains will last, as the predecessor had a relatively low lifespan. Hydraulic compensators are not provided here, so valve clearances will need to be adjusted.
