The G4KN engine is located at the front, at the junction with the transmission. This engine has only recently been installed and there are no statistics on its malfunctions yet. The presence of a second row of injectors should eliminate the problem of valve coking. The catalytic converter is located close to the block and its particles can enter the combustion chamber. The service life of the electronic thermostat and the adjustable oil pump is still unknown. The engine is equipped with hydraulic compensators, which are sensitive to the quality of lubrication.

1.6-liter turbocharged engine Hyundai G4FP or Smartstream 1.6 T-GDI has been produced since 2019 and installed in popular models such as Sonata, Elantra, and K5, but not in our market. This turbocharged engine is characterized by the presence of a new CVVD gas separation phase change system. Gamma family: G4FC, G4FD, G4FG, G4FJ, G4FL, G4FM, G4FT, and G4FU.
1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder Hyundai G3LC or 1.0 T-GDi engine has been produced since 2015 and installed in many compact models of the Korean conglomerate, such as i10, i20, i30, Kona, and Kia Ceed. This engine features a combination fuel injection system, which means it has two rows of injectors. The Kappa line includes: G3LB, G3LC, G3LE, G3LF, G4LA, G4LC, G4LD, G4LE, and G4LF.
The 1.6-liter diesel engine of the Volkswagen SB 1.6 TD was produced from 1989 to 1993 and was installed in many models of the company, but it is mainly known to us from the Passat [B3] model. This turbodiesel was the most powerful in its lineup and stood out for its presence of an intercooler. The EA086 series also includes engines with codes: [JK], [JP], [JX], [1X], [1Y], [AAZ], and [ABL].
The 2.2-liter Renault G8T diesel engine was produced at the company's factory from 1993 to 2002 and installed in the largest models of the group at that time, such as Laguna, Safrane, and Espace. There was a version of this engine with a displacement of 83 HP, as well as a turbocharged version with a power output of 113 HP. Other engines in the G diesel engine series include the G9T and G9U.
