Engine Overview and Common Failures

The G4KP engine number is located at the front, at the junction with the gearbox. It's too early to talk about the reliability of this turbo engine as it has just appeared. The presence of a combined injection solves the problem of coking of the intake valves. The timing chains of powerful turbocharged power units wear out very quickly. This is a very hot engine and it is necessary to monitor the condition of its cooling system. Variable performance oil pump assemblies do not add reliability.
