Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the EZB engine in assembly is 260 kg. The EZB engine number is located at the junction of the block and the oil pan. Engines of this series are very reliable, owners only complain about high fuel consumption. For the normal operation of the MDS system and hydraulic lifters, it is necessary to use 5W-20 oil. Extended use of low-quality fuel can cause the EGR valve to stick. Sometimes the exhaust manifold also leads to issues, causing the mounting bolts to break. Strange sounds under the hood, known as Hemi ticking, are often heard.
