Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the ESF engine assembly is 280 kg. The ESF engine number is located at the junction of the block and the oil pan. Engines of this series do not cause many problems, but fuel consumption is high. Also, the MDS system is not present here, which makes this power unit even more reliable. For normal engine operation, especially for hydraulic compensators, it requires 5W-20 oil. Often, there are issues with the exhaust manifold, and sometimes even the studs holding it can break. Strange sounds, commonly known as Hemi ticking, are often heard under the hood.
