Engine Overview and Common Failures

The EZH engine assembly weighs 270 kg. The EZH engine number is located at the junction of the block and the oil pan. These engines are reliable, but the fuel consumption is a bit high. The proprietary MDS system and hydraulic lifters prefer 0W-20 and 5W-20 type oil. Poor quality fuel can quickly clog and cause the EGR valve to start sticking. Often, the issue lies with the exhaust manifold, where the mounting bolts tend to break. Many owners encounter strange sounds known as Hemi ticking.
