Engine Overview and Common Failures

The dry weight of the G4HA engine according to the catalog is 97.5 kg. The engine number G4HA is located on the right at the junction with the gearbox. This unit does not have any design problems, but you can't call it resourceful. The main concerns are related to the pollution of the throttle and idle control valve. Engine misfire often occurs due to wire insulation failure. If the fuel filter is rarely changed, it will rust and removing it will not be easy. Usually, around 200,000 km, an overhaul is required with machining to repair size.
