Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the CKTB engine assembly is 170 kg. The CKTB engine number is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. This is a simple and very reliable diesel engine with electromagnetic injectors. With proper maintenance and regular oil changes, the unit does not cause much trouble. The timing belt does not always reach the specified 200,000 km, and if it breaks, it bends the valves. It can also be affected by a broken generator belt, causing it to jump. Other problems are related to the contamination of the soot filter and EGR valve.
