The weight of the IQDB engine is 91 kg (without attachments). The Ford IQDB engine number is located at the front, at the junction with the gearbox. The main problem of the engine is the accumulation of catalyst crumbs in the combustion chamber. Failures of ignition system components occur afterwards, as they do not tolerate poor fuel. There are complaints online about leaks from under the valve cover or the rear crankshaft seal. Valves need to be adjusted every 100,000 km, as there are no hydraulic compensators here. The fuel pump and accessory belt also have a small lifespan.
