Hyundai G8aa engine

The 4.5-liter, 32-valve engine Hyundai G8AA was installed by the company from 1999 to 2003 and was used in the first generation of the Equus model as well as the luxury Centennial sedan based on it. This powertrain is essentially a variant of the well-known Mitsubishi V8 engine 8A80. The Omega family also includes the G8AB engine.

The weight of the Hyundai G8AA engine is 230 kg (including attachments). The engine requires high-quality gasoline with an octane rating of AI-98, otherwise it will operate unstably. Additionally, this unit suffers from rapid carbon buildup on the intake valves. Regularly check the condition of the timing belt, as its failure is fatal for the engine.
