Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the G4NN engine according to the catalog is 121 kg. The engine number G4NN is located at the junction with the gearbox. This turbo engine has not been in production for long, so there is no statistics of breakdowns. On Chinese forums, it is mostly praised and criticized only for the Start-Stop system. Like all direct injection engines, it suffers from carbon deposits on the intake valves. Also, engines in this series do not have a very high timing chain lifespan. And for us, the main problem will be a shortage of spare parts, as this engine is intended for China.
