This is a very reliable engine and breakdowns only occur at very high mileage. The main problem is valve seat burning, leading to compression loss. Look for the cause of power failures in the turbo control system, DMV, and EGR valve. The most common cause of oil leaks is a cracked lower flange of the PCV pipe.
