The 1.8-liter Chevrolet F18D4 or 2H0 engine was produced by the company from 2008 to 2016 and only installed in the quite popular Cruze model in our car market. This powertrain is no different from the well-known Opel Z18XER engine. The F series also includes the following engines: F14D3, F14D4, F15S3, F16D3, F16D4, and F18D3.

Engine misfiring indicates a malfunction of the electromagnetic valves of the phase regulator. Oil leaks from under the valve cover and heat exchanger gasket are common.
