Engine Overview and Common Failures

Monitor the condition of the radiator and pump, many engine problems are caused by overheating. The main cause of fluctuating revs is the throttle and fuel pump being dirty. The most common culprit for the failure of this component is a cracked ignition coil. Saving on lubrication often leads to rapid wear of the camshaft bearings. Also, on the forum, they complain about the detached thermal cover and exhaust manifold bolts.
