Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the F8CE engine according to the catalog is 112 kg. The engine number F8CE is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. The most well-known problem of this engine is the valve seat dropout directly into the cylinders. Another common issue is frequent overheating due to coolant leakage. Spare parts for this power unit are not widely available and the prices are not satisfactory. Additionally, the engine is very noisy and the noise under the hood only increases with mileage. The only advantage that can be considered is the fact that in case of a belt failure, the valves do not bend.
