Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the 1X engine when assembled is 153 kg. The engine number 1X is located on the cylinder block. This engine is most afraid of overheating, as its aluminum cylinder head cracks immediately. Fuel leaks in the fuel injection pump are very common, and gaskets wear out quickly. The timing belt has a lifespan of approximately 60,000 km, and valve breakage results in 100% bent valves. On high mileage, this diesel engine often consumes 1.5 liters of oil per 1000 km. The remaining engine issues are more often related to its age rather than reliability.
