Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the G4DJ engine is 115 kg (excluding attachments). The engine number G4DJ is located near the spark plug of the first cylinder. The most well-known problem is excessive oil consumption due to worn piston rings. Furthermore, the throttle assembly wears out quickly and the engine speed becomes unstable. Pay close attention to the condition of the timing belt, as its failure can cause valve damage. This engine does not tolerate cold starts in severe frost and may flood the spark plugs. On forums, there are constant complaints about the unreliable fuel pump and weak engine mounts.
