Engine Overview and Common Failures

Owners of cars with this engine often complain about high oil consumption. There is no oil level sensor, so these engines often get stuck. The camshaft seals are regularly pushed out, causing the lubricant to get on the timing belt. The plastic water pump with two thermostats does not last long, and the replacement is expensive. Due to the design features of the exhaust system, the engine is prone to vibrations in winter.
