Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the H22A engine according to the catalog is 165 kg. The engine number H22A is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. These engines are quite reliable, but they are often criticized for excessive oil consumption. Oil also tends to leak from gaskets, seals, plugs, and the pressure sensor. Sometimes the car starts to respond poorly to the gas pedal due to electrical glitches. Coolant leaks often occur here due to another burst pipe. Since there are no hydraulic lifters here, the valves will need to be adjusted every 40,000 km.
