Engine Overview and Common Failures

The dry weight of the EXJ engine according to the catalog is 220 kg. The engine number EXJ is located on the cylinder block. This unit appeared not so long ago, so detailed breakdown statistics have not yet been collected. Engines from 2019 to 2021 were recalled and had their defective fuel injection pump replaced with a new one. Sometimes this didn't help, as parts of the pump managed to get into the fuel system. Another recall campaign was conducted to replace cracked EGR coolers. There are also complaints on the forum about a sensitive turbo lag and leaks from the oil cooler.
