Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the ENE engine assembly is 210 kg. The ENE engine number is located at the junction of the block and the oil pan. There was a recall campaign for the replacement of Delphi piezo injectors on early-year engines. Another weak point of the fuel system is the dosing valve in the rail. The variable performance oil pump may malfunction, which is dangerous for the engine. It is worth starting the search for an air suction from the intake manifold, as it often cracks. Additionally, this diesel engine regularly suffers from coolant leaks from the thermostat and pump.
